Gov't Mule Halloween Weekend '21
The two Mule shows at The Tabernacle in Atlanta on Halloween weekend were alternately rocking, bluesy, hard-rocking, jamming, funky, tender, and did I mention rocking?? The level of expertise from this insanely big-sounding foursome satisfies my heart, mind, (dancing) feet, spirit/soul/essence, and everything else I want and need from a night of live music with the likes of Warren. Being new-ish to Mule and other Warren-led outfits--but not Warren's days with the ABB--I'm only now beginning to see and hear his solo gifts on guitar that live up to everything I hear. He comes across practically effortless on so many amazing solos and jams that I had to stop even paying attention to his playing and just LISTEN and GROOVE and SETTLE IN -- my favorite thing to do in music! I'm a convert, and after meeting so many nice people who invited me to their gatherings, I feel like the newest member of the Famuley. It's a great place to be.
